Farmer-Direct Seeds

Lilly-Gray loves to collect things! Rocks, books, feathers, and seeds! Over the years she has found some beautiful varieties of flowers, fruits, and vegetables and wants to be able to share them with you. Everything is open-pollinated on the farm and planted very carefully with that in mind. The majority of the plants for Honey Hush Flower Co are grown from seed and only the most gorgeous blooms get tagged to save their seeds.

Seeds will be released as available.

The first batch of seeds to be released will be the “Pollinator’s Collection.” A variety of hardy perennials and annuals that attract butterflies, bumblebees and honey bees. Honey Hush Flower Co. loves honey bees and keeps a few hives every year. One is located in between the snapdragon and dahlia patch and the other is currently located at the top of the strawberry patch that has a strip of wildflowers. Right now the wildflowers in bloom are magnificent sunflowers, with seeds to be collected soon!

My dear friend, Miss Carol, gave me these cosmos from her garden while we worked together during the first heat wave in the summer of 2021. We soaked the ground and gently pulled these dainty, fern-like stems one by one and I rushed them home to plant before they wilted. A beautiful annual that is easy to grow and will bloom more and more if you dead head it throughout its blooming time.
